CUBA
Sierra Maestra is a mountain range that crosses the southern part of the country from Guantanamo province to Niquero province. This great Cuban cru is cultivated in this mountain range, to the east of the island, 1000 meters above sea level.
The rich copper, manganese and iron chromium soils create unique aromatic profiles in the world. The oceanic influence of the West Indies and the high altitude create the perfect conditions for the production of a coffee of excellence!
The first coffee plantations appeared on the island of Cuba in 1748 and developed in 1789, with the arrival of 1000 French farmers. Rich in their agricultural experience and business knowledge, these coffee growers actively participated in the development of coffee culture in Cuba, thus generating a real economic boom for the country.
