Japan Sencha Fukuyu is a Japanese green Sencha tea very green in cup. More powerful than green teas from China.
Green tea is the most consumed form of tea in the world. It is usually the third and fourth leaves of the tea tree. The method of manufacture varies slightly from one country to another but the main steps remain the same. The leaves are heated to more than 100°C for a few seconds at several minutes. This operation, roasting, is done immediately after picking. The objective is to prevent oxidation by removing the enzymes from the leaves. Then the leaves are « Formatting » Sencha, Chung Mee or Gunpowder.
