SOUTH AMERICA
Maté is a tree close to the holly, growing in South America, only the leaves are harvested, dried and very slightly roasted. It makes it possible to prepare an energizing, powerful and long-lasting drink.
It also promotes concentration and helps to stay fit throughout the day. These special energy properties are made possible by the combination of caffeine and theobromine (another energy molecule).
Unlike coffee, maté does not cause a peak of excitement or a "bar stroke". It is « green gold » South America. Often called « Brazil tea » or « Tea from Paraguay ».
